BLACKBIRD PIE

Late at night, a door slams. A suitcase is on the stoop. Two horses lost in the mist. Upset and impeccably dressed, Irène pets one of them on the flank. Francis is standing with his arms dangling. He refuses to believe his wife is leaving for good. He’s going to take her home, he’s got things under control.

Until the other guys decide to show up.
